The Center for Media & Community at EDC promotes innovative uses of information and communication technologies (ICTs) to foster stronger communities and lifelong learning. Through projects, publications, and collaborations, the Center seeks to frame these emerging issues and develop solutions that can sustain the steady growth of digital literacy. Now in the final phase of a large-scale, two-part meeting, the World Summit for the Information Society will convene in Tunis from November 16-18, 2005.
